Ben Lewitt

Founder and former professional rugby player with Leicester, Northampton, England 7s

OWL Sporting Group firmly believes that one of the best assets any player can have is experience. That’s where Ben Lewitt comes in – a former professional who understands the importance of maximising any rugby career.

Ben has over 20 years experience (12 playing and 8 representing) in the Professional Rugby Industry, which began as a player in 1997 at Coventry Rugby Club.

Ben’s successful playing career started at Coventry RFC in 1997 and went on to encompass Leicester Tigers (during their Premiership and European Cup winning period of 1999 to 2002), Orrell, Bedford and over 100 matches for Northampton Saints 1st XV. He also represented England 7’s in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2006.

After retirement, Ben decided that the best way for him to remain in the rugby world was to help the next generation of talent navigate the game, from contracts to real-life experiences off the pitch.

With over a decade of experience as an agent, Ben has spotted and overseen the careers of some of the most talented players in the UK. However, his passion lies in helping both future, current and former superstars to reach the top – and stay there.

His knowledge of player pathways and the key stakeholders in that process, married to a genuine appreciation of the commercial landscape, make him one of the most prominent operators in world rugby.

Simon Cohen

Strategy Consultant

Simon Cohen is the former Chief Executive of Leicester Tigers, the most successful English rugby union club since the league’s inception 30 years ago.

He works closely with Ben and the OWL team as a consultant and strategy specialist, bringing a vast amount of experience within the rugby world.

Before leading the Tigers, Simon worked as a rugby agent, representing prominent England players like Johnny Wilkinson.

Sophie Fajer

Operations Director

Sophie is responsible for ensuring our clients enjoy a smooth experience with OWL, from signing to finding the perfect place to live. She also manages everything from partnerships to travel.

Phil Brown

Marketing and Comms

Phil manages our social media accounts, website, communications and brand.

Tax and Finance team

Our extended team of dedicated financial support experts are on hand to help our clients manage their finances and help with additional paperwork. We have dedicated specialists, no matter which stage you are in your career.

Commercial Team

Our commercial team is on hand to help with partnership arrangements, negotiation, appearances and any other commercial opportunities that our clients engage in,

Housing Team

Our housing team looks after sourcing then buying or renting properties for our clients, creating smoothers transitions when moving between clubs or securing property post-career.

Travel Team

Our travel consultants are on hand to help with everything from booking that well-earned break to arranging travel for tournaments or commercial trips.
