Ellie Kildunne doesn’t just play rugby—she lights up every game!
With 50 England caps and 36 international tries by age 25, Kildunne has become one of the most electrifying players in the global game, never mind the women’s game.
Her 2024 season was nothing short of spectacular: nine tries in five matches during the Women’s Six Nations, earning her the Player of the Championship title, and a further four tries as England defended their WXV 1 title in Canada. These performances culminated in her being named World Rugby Women’s 15s Player of the Year .
Kildunne's journey began in Keighley, West Yorkshire, where she started playing rugby at age seven. She broke barriers early on, becoming the first girl in her school's 200-year history to play rugby . After honing her skills at Hartpury College and St Mary's University, she made her England debut in 2017, scoring a try against Canada.

Her versatility saw her transition to the England Sevens team in 2018, contributing to their qualification for the Tokyo Olympics. Returning to XVs, she played a pivotal role in England's Six Nations victories in 2020 and 2021 and was part of the squad that reached the Rugby World Cup final in 2022
At club level, Ellie has represented Gloucester-Hartpury, Wasps, and currently plays for Harlequins Women. In the 2024–25 Premiership Women's Rugby season, she ranked among the top try scorers with 14 tries
