Gabriel OGHRE
Gabriel Oghre is a dynamic hooker whose career trajectory exemplifies resilience and adaptability in professional rugby.
Oghre honed his skills at Millfield School and began his professional journey with Wasps in 2017. Over five seasons, he made 66 appearances and contributed to the team's run to the 2020 Premiership final. Following Wasps' administration in 2022, Oghre had brief stints with Leicester Tigers and France's Bordeaux Bègles before signing with Bristol Bears in 2023. At Bristol, he has become a key player, known for his mobility and impact in open play.
Internationally, Oghre represented England at U19 and U20 levels, participating in the 2018 World Rugby U20 Championship. In 2021, he was called up to the senior England squad for a training camp, and in 2024, he earned his first cap for England A in a victory over Australia A.
